
ABOUT ME
I am a licensed Professional Engineer with a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering. I offer particular expertise in battery electric vehicle (BEV) eDrive gearbox and cooling design, HEV hybrid transmission design, mechanical design, structural and fatigue analyses, and efficiency testing. During my 11 years’ industry experience, I accomplished design and stress analyses of critical components of electric drive units, hybrid transmissions, and marine thrusters. In all of my design and research experiences, I have been a solid team player and exhibited excellent interpersonal skills.

- Delivered next generation BEV eTransaxles to PD team. Selected gearbox kinematics to fit in 10+ BEV vehicles including F-150, Bronco, Transit, etc. Saved cost by reducing eTransaxle complexity
- Designed and analyzed gears, bearings, splines for BEV gearboxes, managed bearing suppliers
- Led bolted differential design and CAE, introduced laser ablation to Ford transmission for torque capacity increment and cost saving
